Hosting

We're just in the process of replacing the UK server (which was funded by generous donations from both the Filk communuity and uk.music.guitar regulars) - it's nearly 6 years old and getting somewhat flaky. The new box is a nice low power dual core Atom in a dinky NAS/server case, and should (if nothing else) save Mike and Anne several hundred pounds a year in power bills.

If (and no-one is forcing you!) you want to donate to help defray FilkNet's hosting and hardware costs, please feel free. Use the text field in the Paypal form to tell us if you have any specific instructions as to where it should go (Mike's costs, Rob's costs, funding a specific project you want to tell us about, etc: or you can leave it to us to decide where it's best targetted).
